Week 8 Reflection

What: We had a memorial for the 29 miners that died. We have also been swimming. We had a crepe paper day and parade. We started designing our CO2 cars.

So What: I learnt some more about friction. Also to be respectful to others that have died.

Now what: Be respectful to everyone

Camp Reflection

What: Last week we went down to Wellington for our camp. We went to Levin and had morning tea. Then we got to play on the playground. Then we on our way to the tram. We got to the tram the man took us down to the beach. When we got there we looked in the water there was lots of shells in the water. We got to play by the water. We tried to make a bridge so we could get across the water. We then left the beach we went to Wellington. When we got to Wellington we went rock climbing we went up high walls and little walls. My friend Trayven went up the highest wall. We left rock climbing and had dinner. Next we went to the zoo and put our bags in the living room. We then went for a night time tour around the zoo. We got to feed the giraffe's. We then went to the living room and went to sleep. The next morning we woke up had breakfast then went for another tour around the zoo. We left the zoo, we went to the Weir House and unpacked and went to Te Papa. We went and looked around Te Papa. We left Te Papa and went to the swimming pool. We played tackle in the shallow part. We played Gridion. We went back to Weir House had dinner and went to Capital E. After Capital E we went to the Weir House had showers then bed. In the morning we went to the cable car then went to Parliament. After Parliament we went back up the cable car and we went in the Cable Car Museum. After that we had lunch at the park. Then we went to the Southward Car Museum. Then we went back home.

So what: I learnt how to rock climb and i learnt what criminals look like.

Now what: I want to climb higher in rock climbing.

Week 7 Reflection

What: This week we did social dancing. We had to dance with boys as well because we didn't have enough girls. We danced with everybody. Then we did some art, we drew some hot air balloons then dyed them. We then went to Room 12 to do some more art we dyed our fish.

So what: I learnt how to do some of  the dances in social dancing. I learnt how to read my lines with expression for our assembly item.

Now what: My goal is to learn all of the social dances.

My Ugly Dancer

We made a ugly dancer we got to pick our own clothes. Mrs larsen taught me how to make a piture link. Click on the piture to see my ugly dancer.

Week 5 Reflection

What: This week we did some sprints and some tests. We did some more badminton and we played against Mr Feist.

So What: I have learnt how to make an ugly dancer.

Now What: I want to put my ugly dancer on my blog.

School Spirit Day

On Friday it was our School Spirit Day we had to dress up in a rubbish bag.

Week 4 Reflection

What: We made costumes out of rubbish bags, for our school spirit day. Then we had a parade for it. This week we made our own avatar and put it on our blog.

So what: I learnt how to make my own avatar and make an ugly dancer and how to put them on my blog. We also learnt the different types of forces.

Now What: I want to manage my impulsivity all week, next week

Week 3 Reflection

What: This week we did athletics, we did high jump and vortex. We also did bamintion. I got better at it.

So what: This week I learnt some new skills at bamintion. I could actually hit the shuttle. I bet Shannon and William.

Now what: I want to get higher and higher at high jump.  

Room 12

Yesterday Room 14 and Room 12 did some weaving. We did it wiggly instead of straight. We weren't aloud to touch the paper we had to direct them with our mouths. We weaved with dark blue paper and light blue paper.

Sketchcast

Today Mrs Larsen showed us how to use sketchcast. We drew houses, then she showed us how to embed them into our blog.

Yersterday after school me and my koro went to kie ewe beach we went down there to fish. we took the motorbike i got to ride around on the motorbike. i went really far and really fast some boy came we had a drag. i bet them because i had a bigger engine. we caught 2 little fish and 1 big fish we caught 1 big eal

Week 2 Reflection

What: We did weaving by ourselves then we did it with our buddy's in Room 12. After that we did some athletics with Room 1. We got to paint our castles. We also went and had our first badminton lesson .

So what: We learnt how to weave. We learnt how to play a game at badminton.

Now what: I want to get better at baminton.

On the weekend we went to my dads  friends house. he has a mansion he has lams and little piglets. they have dogs called tui and rosey the sheeps names are hilton and lizzy. we got to feed the lams but they ceeped on running away from us. then me and my dad went on the motorbike we went and grow  some seeds for some veges so we can eat for christmas

Week One Reflection

What: We made polystyrene castles, we used some ideas from Mrs Larsens model. We also wrote recipes for what we did in the holidays.

So what: We learnt how to put pictures on blabberize and learned how to make castles out of polystyrene.

Now what: My goal is to get my castle finished.

The spotty cheetah

For reading we were learning to skim and scan to answer questions. We had to pick an animal, write questions, use the internet to answer them. Next we put the information on blabberize.

Weekly Reflection

WHAT: This week nearly the whole school went and saw the production. Lots of people from Room 14 were in it. This week we have choose ingredients to make our pizza our smoothes. Lastly we did PE. We played silent ball inside and out.

SO WHAT: This week I learnt you can use lemon juice to create invisible ink. We used the ink to paint pitures. Then we put our art work over the toaster to make our picture appear. I also learnt to the microphone to record information about cheetahs.

NOW WHAT: My goal is to get better at doing my work faster and quieter.

Weekly Reflection

What :  Room 14 only had half of class the rest were in production. We stayed in class and worked on our new blogs. We also went to Room 12 to help with their art. Room 12 had a bigger class then we did.

So What : We learnt how to find a fraction of a set, use similes in our writing and how to skim and scan text. We learnt how to put world maps and blog counters on our blogs.


Now What : I want to learn how to do my times table off by heart.

Our new blogs

Today  Room 14  made our own blogs. We went on gmail.com to make an email. We picked a background for our gmail account.We then used this email to create a blog. We found templates for our blogs they were cool and exiting.
